How much does a guardianship puppy cost?
There's no charge to take in one of our guardianship puppies.
What kind of home are you looking for in a guardianship home?
We're looking for a happy home where the puppy will get lots of love as well as structure and training. These dogs are amazing with or without kids. They are compact in size so you don't have to have a huge home but every dogs needs plenty of exercise.
How much time will the dog spend in my home?
Guardianship dogs live in their guardian home at all times except for when they are within one week of giving birth. During the last week of pregnancy until the newly born puppies are four weeks-old, the dog will live here at the Golden Vista Farm. Then they go to your home! We love having the guardian come and visit and play with puppies!!
How long is the guardianship agreement?
We breed our dog-mamas after their second heat. They are bred four to five times then she is spayed (at our expense) and ownership is transferred to the guardian home, forever!
